The Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association owes a fiduciary obligation to its members to take any reasonable and necessary action to protect the association's proprietary rights and its assets from damages resulting from infringement or usurpation by way of (including but not limited to) exploitation through association membership, advertising in association publications, or exhibiting at the association sponsored events or trade shows. Therefore, to enforce its rights under the policy, the Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association may refuse to accept advertising or other material for publication in any association publication to anyone where the Board of Directors of the Association has reason to believe such action would be in the best interest of the association in furtherance of the provisions of the policy.

Modification of These Terms of Use

These rules may be modified by the Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association (MLBMA) from time to time. MLBMA reserve the right to change the terms, conditions, and notices under which the MLBMA Web Site is offered, including but not limited to any charges associated with the use of the MLBMA Web Site. Notice of revisions to this Agreement will be announced on this page. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions. Personal and Non- Commercial use Limitation

Unless otherwise specified, the Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association Web Sites is for your personal and non-commercial use. The MLBMA Web Site may contain links to other web sites, including but not limited to member web sites ("Linked Sites"). MLBMA is providing links to additional web sites to you as a convenience, the inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by MLBMA of the site, products offered at that site or any association with other web site operators. Unlawful or Prohibited Use

You are responsible for insuring that any material you provide to the MLBMA Web Site or post on the MLBMA Web Site, including but not limited to text, photographs, and sound, does not violate the copyright, trademark, trade secret or any other personal or proprietary rights of any third persons or is posted with the permission of the owner(s) of such rights.

MLBMA has no obligation to monitor information posted to the MLBMA Web Site. However, MLBMA reserves the right to review materials posted to the MLBMA Web Site and to remove any materials in its sole discretion. MLBMA reserves the right at all times to disclose any information as necessary to satisfy any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, or to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, in MLBMA’s sole discretion.

Use of Materials Supplies by You

Postings to and communications with the Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association (MLBMA) Website is not private. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association, their affiliates, employees, agents, members, and representatives, and to hold them harmless, from any and all claims and liabilities (including attorney's fees) which may arise from your submissions, from your unauthorized use of material obtained through the MLBMA Web Site, or from your breach of this agreement, or from any such acts through your use of the MLBMA Web Site.

Trademarks/Logos

Logos and trademarks of the Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association are registered trademarks of MLBMA and may not be reproduced without the prior consent of MLBMA. The logos displayed on the MLBMA website may be trade trademarks of their affiliated organizations. All of the logos are used with permission for the sole purpose of inclusion in the MLBMA website, and MLBMA does not have the authority to permit third parties to reproduce the logos.
Copyright Policy.

All of the original materials, including website design but not limited to its format and site descriptions, are protected by the copyright laws of the United States. Reproduction for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without prior consent of MLBMA.
MLBMA is providing information and services on the Internet as a benefit and service in furtherance of MLBMA's non-profit and tax-exempt status.

Reprints and Permissions

MLBMA publications printed and online are copyrighted. You will need permission to photocopy or reprint an article. Usually, permission is granted one-time use only. You must submit a new request for permission to reprint beyond your original request.

Termination

The Michigan Lumber and Building Materials Association has the right to terminate your ability to access the MLBMA Web Site, for any reason, without notice.

Jurisdiction

You agree that this agreement, for all purposes, shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Michigan applicable to contracts to be wholly performed therein, and any action based on or alleging a breach of this agreement must be brought in a state or federal court in Michigan. In addition, you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
